Dear Bella

I hope you had a good life one of  my biggest memories of our life at Kenny road is ,Me and Greer were having our 4th birthday party and you were trying to get out of your collar and you got out when we were playing tag and we started chasing you and you started chasing us .I hope you have as much of a good time in heaven as you had when you where alive.

Ake Ake horse farm

On the first Monday of the holidays 28th of September Beth and her sister Greer were getting ready to go to Ake Ake horse farm to get ridding lessons. 

When they got to Ake Ake farm they helped groom and tack up the horses for the other riders . Beth rode a mix of Clydesdale,welsh moutain pony,Arab and some stuff that they don't know .Pearl was the name of Beth's horse,she was a deep liver chestnut with a blaze and a half sock on her left foreleg .Greer rode a welsh mountain pony called Will , Will was a snowy white gray .

The first activity that they did was to watch the first group whilethe 3rd group did  a scavenger hunt .The first group did trotting poles and an obstacle course.The obstacle course was they had to go around a barrel then through the trotting poles then a smaller set of trotting poles ,after they finished the two sets of trotting poles they go around or in between to barrels , then raced to a square and put there hands on their heads for four seconds then race to make the fastest time .

Then they had morning tea it was , apple, orange, chocolate log , and biscuits.After the girls had munched down their servings and gave the horses some apple it was time for the next activity this was riding they did a round around the area and then did the trotting poles and the obstacle course then they went to do the scavenger hunt .The scavenger hunt was in the bottom paddock ,they had to find a twig , a leave, some moss , a feather , a pebble,and and a stick .The scavenger hunt toke about a hour and when they finished they played with the goose and went to see what was going on at the arena . Nothing much was going on so they groomed Will because he wasn't in a lesson . 

Wills hocks ,withers and tail where socked in mud .After they had groomed Will they played with the goose again then they had lunch ,Beth & Greer had a roll fruit and a musil bar after lunch they had games .The first game was musical chairs but on horse back path is is how you play you walk around the chairs then when the music stops you have to dismount and lead your horse to the middle and try win .The next game thay we played was rob the nest it is mainly rob the nest but when you drop a ball you have to dismount then mount again. When you won a game you won a chocolate bar .We played all afternoon ,then we hade to stop to groom the horses then go home. 

School Trip Letter in maths

Dear parents and caregivers ,

On November 3rd we will be going on a trip to the wild life park .

The kids will need :  

• packed lunch
• drink bottle
• rain coat/umbrella

They can also bring $5 dollars to spend if they would like .

We will leave at 9:10 am and arrive back at school  at 3:45 pm on coaches. We suggest that you shouldn't bring glass bottles because they might break. If you would like to be a parent helper select here and bring it back to school as soon as you can.

My speech

For the Birds

It was a nice sunny day at the farm when a little bird flew on to the power line, then another and another. They kept on piling in on the small one that got there first. They started fighting who got the best spot .I couldn't watch this  go on any longer “stop” I yelled when they all looked  at me i felt so  embarrassed i could blush .

When I got their attention all they did was  laugh at me because I looked different to them .While they were laughing at me and imitating me i flew right in the middle of the conversation and one of the birds (that I called blue bird) stuck his beak straight into my stomach and it surprised me so much that i fell backwards and they started pecking at my feet and my claws came off one by one until the last claw when one of the birds realised that they will be swept away when he falls .But it was too late i was on the ground and there was feathers flying everywhere. They dropped like flies when they came down at first slowly then they came thick and fast .

The funny thing was when they came down they had no feathers on it was hilarious I could not stop laughing .

That's my story of how some bullies get bit in the butt.

The magic tack

One day I was cantering through the forest on my black horse Midnight he was a Grand Prize show jumper and was really fast. Oh ,I forgot to intaduch myself my name is Crystal I am turning 15 tomorrow and I am getting some new tack it's great.

The next day 

Yay it's my birthday today I got my tack from my parents and I got an iPhone 6. What I didn't realise that the tack came with a horse he was a horse that they got from the wild and it looked like midnight and was in the same stall as him. My parents must of sold midnight and switched them,I learn that the hard way I got the tack onto who I thought was midnight but it was a semi wild horse who couldn't be controlled under saddle.

Any ways I was tacking up Black shadow as I called him anyway I was getting on to Black shadow and my mum came around the corner and said " I hope you enjoy your new horse sweety " she said I had no idea what she was talking about .I Was going to try do some jumping in the arena but midnight wouldn't listen to me so I thought . I was getting so frustrated with Black shadow I put my new tack on to see if he would behave on the way I asked my mum what she ment when she said enjoy your new horse. She said that she got a new horse for me as a birthday present that came with the tack. 

So I went on my way and tack up Black shadow with the different tack and he was an angel so he went on to being as good as Midnight in show jumping and a bit faster, it looks like his previous owner had no idea how to own a horse.

Winter field day blast

On the 18th of August,the year 6 and some year 5 went to winter field day. today we will be watching the netball the netball is going to compete in 6 different games of in tense netball.

Time to you about all games that Meadowbank was playing in First i will talk about the Viki ave game ,we got the early lead and won The next game they played where Sothen cross  .It
was a tough game but we won in the end and we won all our games from then on in the companionship.

World war lll

One day at the army training camp there was a big announcement "there's going to be a world war lll " the chef announced at the first practise of the year " but there's a big but " the soldiers were expecting the worst but this came "we have been practicing for months even years for this we are more than ready" the soldiers got to training and a month later they where ready for battle. THE NEXT MONTH

we where on the way to Germany hen there was a bump then a bigger bump then a bigger bump then suddenly we where a meatier or two above the water the Astralian TROPS where terrified us New Zealanders where fine. 

When the war was finally over we came home as vickers but this war was strange ANZAS thought it would evolve fighting but it was just hiding from the enemy's. Anyway I will see you in my next squiggle story about world war llll

The bridge

One day in the thick jungles there was a Mustange  with his little sister and they had been thrown out of a nearby zoo with their enemy a Bengal Tiger and her little brother. 

These animals found each other after a year in the wild, they meet at a water hole in India ,the Bengal Tiger said that she should get the water because she lived here in India .The Mustange said that he should get it because he found it first .No I DID , NO I DID ,NO I DID ,NO I DID AND THATS THE END OF THAT.The  little Mustange and the Bengal Tiger Cub said 'why don't we just share the water hole' 'no 'said the big siblings we will fight for it .Ok then we will leave see ya said the little ones.

Did you know that 115 million animals are used every year for cosmetic testing in American laboratories. I am here to tell you about how horrible animal testing is. To do this I am going to tell you the process of animal testing, the products used and the after effects on the animals, and lastly HOW WE CAN STOP IT!

Firstly, I am going to tell you the process of animal testing, in this example I will talk about drug testing. First they come up with the idea of the product or drugs that they are going to test. Then they find the people that are going to help. Next they use computers to make the drug or product. After that they do the research that helps them test the drug on the little cells of the animals. I'm going to tell you about some of the horrible things that happen to the animals.

Ok, now it is time to tell you about the products and how the animals suffer from animal testing. Did you know that some of the injuries on animals are brain damage, poisoning and some other painful experiences. Some of the most common products that are tested on animals are make up, toothpaste, drugs, shampoo,and hair coloring. Now it's time to tell you about some of the animals that are used, the most popular are dogs, cats, horses and monkeys. For example, a study was run on dogs where they put skin lotion all over a dog’s fur and waited to see what would happen. It resulted in the dog’s skin being burned off. Can you imagine being in place of that dog? We need to stop this.

It is now time to tell you how we can stop animal testing. We should make ECO friendly products at home and not use products tested on amimals. This will help stop animal testing and will let the companiess know they should find a new way to test - don’t give them your money and your permission to keep doing animal testing. You can also buy ECO products that are not tested on animals such as kitchen care, bathroom care, fruit and veg wash, cream clenser, dish detergent, and air fresheners.

Get educated on what products are tested on animals and stay away from them. Spread the word about animal testing and get others around you to help stop it as well.
